Stefan Hochhuth
Founder at Hochhuth Consulting GmbH
Stefan is an economist by trade, holding master's degrees in both Economics and Social/Political Sciences. He has a particular interest in topics related to digital governance, political economy, and economic policy. With over 20 years of experience in international development cooperation, he has worked for various institutions, including GIZ, SDC, and the World Bank. Recognizing the potential of digitalization for poverty reduction, he bridges the gap between development economics/governance and digital solutions knowledge.
Robert Ungethuem
Digital Governance Specialist
Robert is a development economist who has spent most of his work at the intersection of international development cooperation and digitalization. Before joining Hochhuth Consulting, Robert guided a network of financial sector NGOs in Southern Africa to digitize their operations. As a consultant Robert has worked with the GIZ, SDC and others to develop smart digital processes.
ALINA CHYHASOVA
UI/UX Designer
Alina is an UI/UX designer at Hochhuth Consulting, where she focuses on improving the interface and user interaction with the platform. Her professional approach is rooted in continuous improvement and the search for innovative solutions to enhance the user experience. She holds a degree in Management of International business and economics from the Kyiv National Economics University in Ukraine, a country currently going through challenging times, yet marked by the courage and determination of its citizens.
Mattis Hahn-Temba
Data Specialist
Mattis is the data specialist at Hochhuth consulting. He has been with the company for several years, overseeing data quality and data tagging while testing new services and features in regards of functionality, usability, and efficiency. He has a master’s degree in African studies, political science, and economics and more than 15 years of experience in managing databases and in website administration.
KRISTINA KOVACH
UI/UX Designer
Kristina is an UI/UX designer at Hochhuth Consulting, with her primary emphasis centred on enhancing platform interfaces and optimizing user experience. What drives her as a UI/UX Designer is the power to make a positive impact on people's lives through design. Kristina earned her master’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from a Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In 2016 she participated in the Olympiads in Astronomy and took the 3rd place at the regional level.

Embracing Our Corporate Culture
Collaboration Trip to France
In 2021, new opportunities had piled up, so we decided to take all the tenders to the tracks. By train we travelled down to the south of France where we undertook workshops, discussions and reviews along the way. Of courseit’s not all work and we get to see some sights and do the occasional hike.
Strategy Workshopping
With the help of strategic thinker and designer, Christoph, we embarked on a day of exercise to explore what our service portfolio looks like and what makes our services unique. Given our diverse nature and all the different minds and backgrounds, this is a great opportunity to align all our thinking.
Poland Retreat
Once a year Hochhuth Consulting goes on a retreat bringing all its staff back together. 2022 with Leonie just having joined the band, we went on to the cold Baltic Coast of Poland. In between strategic workshopping and onboardings, we did manage to take some steps on the beach and visit the local spa.
